Fine Art Prints
Artists Prints - Paper
Black Cat Studio offers giclèe printing of reproductions for artists from our state-of-the-art, large format 44″ Epson inkjet printers. We only use archival quality pigmented inks on museum quality rolls or sheets of 100% rag paper for permanence ratings of up to 200 years.
Originally coined by Jack DuGanne of Nash Editions, Giclèe is the term used to describe the digitally driven ink-jet printing process for making fine art prints. The term, from the French verb gicler, means “to squirt” or “to spray”. Giclée is pronounced shee-clay.
Artists Prints - Canvas
Black Cat Studio offers a variety of canvas options including printing on canvas, spray coating, add color wrap/add image wrap, stretch on 3/4″ bars or 1 1/2″ bars, and hanging hardware. We carry canvas in matte, satin & gloss.
