In order to maintain the best quality work, Black Cat Studio requires a turn-around time of five business days for photographing artwork. When a customer brings in their artwork on a given day, their work will be ready after 1:00pm on the same day of the following week.

A rush fee of $40 will be added for each day requested before the due date.

Customers may pick up their artwork 24 hours before the scheduled due date at no additional cost, but the film or work ordered will not be available for pickup until the scheduled due date after 1:00pm.

Customers may call the studio or email and check the status of an order before the due date. If we are able to finish your work early, the work can be picked up at no additional fee.

Time delays may occur due to holidays and during high season and may require additional days to be added to the turn-around time. Customers will be notified in advance.


Please note: It is much less expensive to bring your work to us than for us to go to your work. We will come to you at the charge of $200. per hour (plus film and processing), 2 hour minimum includes travel time. Your site may not be optimal for photographing your artwork. It's less expensive and you get a better product when you drop work off.

Our guarantee: We try our best to guarantee your satisfaction. However, if our work does not reasonably meet your expectations, we can reshoot at our discretion but you will be charged additionally for film and processing. We do not guarantee closest color match if we cannot compare art and final film.

Jewelry, polished metals and stained glass require special considerations. Any preliminary estimates are subject to adjustment.

Hourly rates are based on a minimum of two hours.
